The R-3000 log saw is designed for cutting timber with lengths of 2.5-3 meters and diameters up to 40 or 48 cm into shorter sections. This machine is primarily intended for wooden pallet manufacturers. The log cutting equipment system consists of the following main components: - Storage conveyor with feeding mechanism - Longitudinal conveyor - Crosscut saw - Roller conveyor behind the saw with ejector and retractable stop - Hydraulic power unit - Operator cabin with control panel Logs are fed onto the cross-storage conveyor using a loader. Through the single-feed mechanism, logs are transferred to the longitudinal conveyor. Subsequently, the log is moved by this conveyor and then by roller conveyors in front of the saw. The log, during its movement, stops at the retractable stop, which sets the dimension. Once stopped at the stop, hydraulically driven jaws clamp onto the log, and the cutting process begins.
